Hiking Routes to Discover in Corsica

The most legendary hiking trail in Corsica is the GR20. Stretching nearly 200 km across the Corsican mountains, the classic GR20 route runs from north to south, from Calenzana to Conca. Thanks to milder conditions, we recommend hiking it between June and September. Be aware that this trail is considered one of the most difficult in Europe. Experienced hikers usually need around 14 days to complete it. Despite its challenges, anyone in good physical condition can enjoy the unforgettable panoramas along the way.

Looking for an easier hike? From the village of Lumio in northern Corsica, climb towards the ruins located at the foot of the Capu d’Occi rocks. From the heights, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over the deep blue sea.

The Mare a Mare Sud is also a must-do. From one coast to the other, between Porto-Vecchio and Propriano, you’ll discover the culture of the hilltop villages of Alta Rocca. Oak forests, streams… you’ll be immersed in the heart of the maquis. In Corsica, you truly enter a paradise for hiking enthusiasts.
