Sagone is a region of Southern Corsica located between the Gulf of Ajaccio and this of Porto on the western part of the island.
This one extends from Capo di Feno in the south to Cargese more in the North.
From Ajaccio a couple of curves down the mountainside will bring you to the Gulf of Sagone with its magnificent sandy beaches.
This region is well-known from the holiday-makers and especially touristic thanks to its wondeful beaches.
The main towns are :
– Tiuccia which is the seaside resort forming a part of the Gulf of Liscia,
– Sagone, small village characterized by its cove and its beaches which will bring you to the 3rd most important town of the Gulf : Cargese.
SAGONE AND BEACHES
Chiuni Beach is most likely the nicest beach of Sagone Region. It is a wonderful beach of fine sand large of 800 metres marked out of shrubs adapted to chidlren, because it is not much deep.
It is then an ideal place of holidays in family if you are looking for a rather seaside stay where your children will bath in any peacefulness.
SAGONE AND NATURE
In Vico Village, comes through the river of Liamone.
This river, easy of access where you will park close by the bridge, will ensure you freshness but not only : this river has small shady places to take refuge of the blazing sun of the summer days.
The places are done up with sand where your children will play as if they were at the beach but without the crowd !
Moreother, the water is translucent and not much deep, so ideal for the children !
