The Vista di Sognu Villas are nestled in the village of Monticello, 10 minutes from Ile Rousse and its beaches. It’s one of those picturesque Corsican villages with unspoilt charm.
Here, the setting invites you to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.

The village grocery shop and the legendary A Pasturella restaurant are just 50 metres away.
For lovers of nature and the great outdoors, they are also at the crossroads of numerous hiking trails.

Vista di Sognu Villas: two 4-star Villas

We offer two 4-star villas for rent with top-of-the-range facilities, the Alimea villa and the Olivea villa.

Each villa has its own private spa and a large terrace with 180° views over the bay of Ile Rousse. Both have 2 bedrooms and a surface area of 90m².
-The Alimea villa sleeps 4/6 people.
-The Olivea villa sleeps 4/5.

The interiors of our Vista di Sognu villas include:
a large lounge area with sofa and flat-screen TV,
-a dining area and fully equipped kitchen,
-two bedrooms with en suite shower rooms and toiletries.

Bed linen and towels are provided.
Bi-weekly cleaning and SPA maintenance are also included in the price.

Vista di Sognu Villas: what to do there

First of all, during your stay, we invite you to visit our village, Monticello.
It’s a village with a remarkable heritage, including :
-the church of Saint-François-Xavier, with its listed chapel and dome,
-the chapel of the San Carlo Borromée brotherhood and its organ,
-and the ancient church of San Quilico.

Then, still in Monticello, take the walk along the path overlooking the cemetery to admire the dazzling panorama of Balagne.
It’s a feast for the eyes, with the Mediterranean as a backdrop on one side and the Réginu valley and its mountains on the other.
Finally, for the more sporty, tennis and horse-riding can be practised directly in the village.

Vista di Sognu Villas: things to do in the area

As well as a strong architectural heritage, Monticello is also renowned for its natural heritage.
– Visit the Saleccia botanical park on ÃŽle Rousse, which extends over more than 7 hectares by the sea. It’s a magnificent park in the heart of the Corsican maquis, designed by a botanist. It offers a wide range of activities, a children’s play area and farm animals.
– Just 15 minutes from the Gulf of Reginu (9 holes), surrounded by the olive groves of the Balagne hills.
– There are more than 12 walks starting from Monticello with evocative names: the Arbo Valley loop, the Pietra loop…

But the local star is obviously the sea, with its clear turquoise waters.
There are many coves and beaches to discover during your stay.
Some of the best known are
-Cala d’Olive cove,
-the coves of Saleccia
-the beaches of Lozari and also the beaches of Ile Rousse with its water sports activities.

There are 2 ways of getting here:
– by plane to Calvi airport (30 minutes) or Bastia airport (1 hour),
– or by boat from the port of ÃŽle Rousse.
