Plage de Canella

Region : CANELLA BEACH

Canella beach, located around 10 kilometres south of Solenzara in southern Corsica, is a real gem on the eastern coast.

Nestling in a protected cove, it offers an idyllic setting, typical of Corsican landscapes. Its fine golden sand stretches for around 400 metres, bordered by crystal-clear waters in shades of blue.

Thanks to its gentle slope and several metres of shallow water, the beach is ideal for families with children.
Surrounded by lush pine and maquis vegetation, Canella beach offers a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.

Snorkellers can explore the rocky areas at the far ends of the bay, where a wide variety of marine life can be found.

The beach boasts a number of practical amenities, including nearby parking, restaurants and the possibility of hiring sun loungers and parasols.

It’s the perfect place for a relaxing day out in the heart of the natural wonders of southern Corsica.

A picture-postcard setting in a pretty rounded bay!

Canella beach is located approximately 60 km north-east of Bonifacio and 32 km north of Porto-Vecchio.
