Scandola
We are there in imposing. In the south of Calvi,
the landscapes becom wild and steeped because of a dazzled and
reddish granit.
That is indisputably by boat that the coastal is the most beautiful
to see. From Galeria, half-way between Calvi and Porto, the road
moves away from the see, giving the yachtmen the privilege to
admire the nature reserve of Scandola, named in 1983 by UNESCO
as property of humanity.
Among the jewels of the nature reserve, the marina of Elbo,
perfect alchemy between earth and see : A bit more in the south,
the small village of fishers from Girolata, one of the rare places
of the coastal accessible by the road and still inhabited.
